Biography

Zainab Bashua, a Senior Consultant at JB Consultant Group, pursued an MBA and a career in diplomatic services, before discovering her true passion for hospitality.

She has developed her expertise alongside critically acclaimed venues – the renowned Core by Clare Smyth, as well as the much sought-after Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen in London. Zainab has also gained experience in culinary events, such as TASTE, and the lauded WastEd London pop-up concept.

Moving to Ghana in 2018, Zainab formed an integral part of the setup of Fatfish and managed Santoku Restaurant, some of the most impactful hospitality and lifestyle concepts in Accra.

With an interest in continuous learning, Zainab has gained her WSET Level 1 certification, as well as her HACCP. As a passionate hospitality expert, with knowledge of various restaurant spectrums, and a background in business, Zainab is fast to recognize critical points in operations and implement tailored effective solutions.

Her core strength lies in establishing structures, implementing systems, and introducing the highest service and delivery standards in operations while leading multicultural teams.
